Transcription: The image of the mad scientist was colorized using Adobe Photoshop. The original file was converted from line art to grayscale and then to RGB, where the airbrush tool was used to colorize areas of the face, hands, the beakers and other test tube equipment, as well as the glasses, his teeth and even his tongue. Once those colors were added, the magic wand tool was then used to select all the surrounding white area, and then the blend tool was used to create a gradient blend from white at the bottom up to a light gray at the top.
